Book Reviews of ClarityBook Review: A Unique Beauty Summary: 5 Stars
Maharaji's (Prem Rawat) 'Clarity' is much more than words. Apart from reading such wonderful compilations of Maharaji's published poems, I have personally heard him speak at various venues over the past few years. Maharaji speaks to every human being about fulfilling ones life.
Clarity is a book that I purchased after hearing Maharaji's message, and what he offers. I was pleasantly surprised while reading through and had not realised how heart-filling it was and still is, and so so simple.
Clarity is a true beauty, its graphics are really unique and its content is ever-fresh. It brings a new beauty each time you read it, leaving the reader always facinated and amazed.
I must admit, this book did challenge me to appreciate the beauty of my existence and what life has to offer, rather than just ignoring it.
Maharaji's message comforts me, it touches the very depth of my being, it awakens me to a new reality of just being alive and enjoying each moment. Its the sweetest message I've ever heard.
I also recommend "The Inner Journey" - a DVD conversation with Prem Rawat and Burt Wolf.
Book Review: Clarity, by Prem Rawat Summary: 5 Stars
A book such as this cannot easily be reviewed objectively, by pre-determined criteria.
Like any truly great work of art, it can be reviewed only in terms of the impact it has on the reader. Not readers in the abstract, but each individual reader.
I start to read this book and I find myself sitting up straighter. Something that my mind does not understand comes to life and wants to pay attention. I give it leave to do so and I am carried by the simple rhythms, texture, and content that speaks to me from a place of kindness and generosity.
The impact is that it touches me and inspires me to recognize the best in myself. It is so rare that writing can do that. My only explanation is that it has to do with where the words are coming from.
My response is to want to read and re-read. Contemplate and re-contemplate. Knowing that there is not only something true and beautiful being written, but something practical in helping me to know myself and the value of my life, and by so doing to recognize the value of every life I encounter.
Book Review: Wonderful Inspiration. Summary: 5 Stars
I have read this book ("Clarity" by Prem Rawat) and found it to be a remarkably inspiring and enjoyable read. What the author writes makes sense to me; I appreciate, understand and relate to what is written. Rawat's words hit the mark for me in terms of being able to resonate with an understanding that I myself have about life. His writing reflects what I already know and feel on an inner level. This book is for people who want to feel inspired about the fact that they are alive. It is for people who enjoy life and feel good about being alive. It is also for people who are interested in reading the writing of an individual who has made the subject of peace the primary focus of his life.

Book Review: "Worth reading over and over" Summary: 5 Stars
During my first read of "Clarity," I wished I had known about these wonderful stories and poems when I was teaching English and American literature and writing classes. There are delightful simple examples of how to express profound feelings. During my second read, I started paying more attention to the depth of the content and enjoyed discovering and learning more for myself.
I particularly liked two of Prem Rawat's stories: "Rigidity of a Rock," inspiring my heart to persist every day in the pursuit of joy, and "It Worked," a metaphor about the human journey. I greatly appreciate the encouragement from "The Strongest Force," a poem on going forward with clarity.
"Clarity" makes an excellent gift book.
Book Review: Clarity! Exactly! Summary: 5 Stars
If my life, myself, was only a product of the forces of the world around me that would be fine. I am having a wonderful life. However, to be reminded that life itself has a force and to actually feel the feeling of life is, for me, incredibly sweet. This book, everytime I pick it up, draws me toward sweet feeling.
But, just like many things in this life, riding a bike for example, even though you can watch others do it, until you get it seems impossible. This is how I feel as I read this book, I remember a time when these would just be words on a page, but I pick it up again and again and I get it. I appreciate the words on the page. I understand the words on the page. Clarity! Exactly!
