Book Review: Sure way to get an A in Jack's Civ Pro class

GW graduate here - I had Prof. Friendenthal for Civ Pro a couple years ago.
In an effort to be concise:
1. I didn't buy a casebook for this class (well I did, but it got lost in the mail and I never replaced it).
2. I never went to Jack's lecture because I liked sleeping in.
3. Yet I easily pulled an A because I read Jack's Hornbook thoroughly.
4. Current CoA clerk...I reference Jack's Hornbook along with my Wright and Kane Fed. Practice Deskbook pretty much once a week. Essential if you practice or plan on practicing law in the federal system.
5. Look up the word "concise" in the dictionary and there is a picture of Friedenthal's Civ Pro Hornbook.

The Fourth Edition of the Hornbook on Civil Procedure gives a straightforward, ?no-nonsense? assessment of the law as it exists, including the highlighting of areas where cases conflict or there is some other uncertainty in the law.
