Book Review: Try Not to Leave Home Without These Cards

I have two sets of these cards, because unfortunately, I did leave home without them last summer. Luckily, I was able to pick up a set at Shakespeare and Company; of course I paid more than double the amount that Amazon sells it for. I just got back from my seventh trip to Paris just two weeks ago and I absolutely love these cards. My first four trips were all about visiting museums and monuments. My last three trips have been all about exploring neighborhoods with these cards. I even bought a set for a friend who was living at Paris at the time and she always uses her set every time she goes back to visit. I don't understand why others have said the cards are inconvenient (it's inconvenient to turn the card to read?!). I've tried using books that are specifically for guided walks and there not nearly as portable or convenient as these cards. You simply stick a few in your purse and go! And now I see that there is an updated 2011 version, so I guess I will soon have three sets!
