I got this book for my 4 year old daughter and she loves it. She loves ALL of Kevin Henkes books. My daughter has an unusual name so I am sure that later on as she progresses in school that she may encounter the Victoria's of the world and know how Absolutely Perfect that her name is for her and all that love her.Book Review: Great book!

This is a sweet book about a little mouse who learns to love herself even when she is different from everyone else. This book helps children realize that being different is okay and it also shows up how peers can make a person feel bad or good about themself through their words an actions. I don't care how old you... you need to read this book. Adults probably need it just as much as kids. It teaches a wonderful lesson about being kind. I teach 5th grade, and use this as a reading lesson and a character lesson.
They love it and can connect to it.

I love reading this book to my daughter because it is a real story about a kid's experience. Kevin Henkes uses big words which can only enhance a child's vocabulary, and he manages to write a story that is a pleasure to read over and over again.
