Book Review: A misinterpretation of Scripture!

Ironically,( and amazingly) the author quotes a passage from Scripture which actually disproves his thesis !
Read Matthew 7 : 21-23 again very carefully.
" Not everyone that sayeth unto me Lord,Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven: but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
What is the will of the Father? Is it to do works , or "merely" believe Jesus is the Christ?
Read Matthew 7:22 : " Many will say to me in that day, Lord ,Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?and in thy name have cast out devils?and in thy name done many wonderful WORKS? "
Well, there it is! Doing works is not what gets us into Heaven. ( What better works can you do than tell prophesies and cast out devils??!!?)
Matthew 7:23 states : " And then will I profess unto them,I never knew you: depart from me,ye that WORK iniquity."
(When Jesus used the term "knew you", he meant that those people never believed in Him as Saviour.)
Wow! Not only will works alone NOT get you into Heaven, God even states that " works alone" theology is an iniquity!!
Keep believing in the Protestant ( Lutheran and Calvinist) doctrine of "Faith Only" , and I'll see you in Heaven.
