Book Review: Genius! Summary: 5 Stars
What makes this book so excellent is the fact that you can open it up to any page and work through it. It's timeless, and entirely indispensible. Polgar doesn't cloud the pages with his thoughts and observations, it's just straight up chess problems without the unnecessary riffraff.
It would make a brilliant coffee table book.
I've owned it for a month now and it's helped already. The problems help me better recognize checkmates, and quicker, too.

Book Review: Intense review for those that play regularly. Summary: 5 Stars
I am a little over 300 problems in and just starting the Mate in 2's, but I have learned more from this book, because of the difficult positions that it shows.
Just training the mind to see two or even three moves ahead can be a daunting task. Developing the aptitude to see that far is what Polgar intended. There were times where I wanted to discard the book, and proclaim it too difficult, but after some really hard work, you will begin to see the problems for what they are: A challenge.
Book Review: A+ Tool for Newbies and Masters!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great learning tool to anyone from a rookie to a master. The book teaches you how to read the whole board instead of just looking at making a move you may regret. I was having trouble with my end game where I was only able to mate with back rank mates. The book has taught me to use all pieces to mate. I was told this would be a great book to learn different aspects of the game by the 2003 Louisiana State Champion (Alvin Dominique) and he was ever so right!!! A+ tool!!!
