Book Review: Really, Kindle owners? REALLY?

I'm a Kindle owner, and at this point, about 90% of my reading activity now occurs on my Kindle DX. I love it...I want ALL the books EVER published to be available on the Kindle. But you know what? It just isn't so yet. Still, amazingly, I find the ability to go on with my life, and--even more amazingly, perhaps--the world hasn't ended due to any title's lack of Kindle-availability. Go figure.
Have we REALLY become so obsessed with instant gratification and our own self-imposed sense of entitlement that we have to go all indignant & infantile in a public forum when we have to wait an extra few weeks for a published work to become available in our preferred format? After only two years in the marketplace, has the Kindle's convenience completely wiped clean your knowledge of how to own and operate a printed book? Has your overpowering desire to be the first person in your social circle to read this book caused you to forget how to get to your local library? Apparently so.
The solution for some people seems to boil down to: "Since I can't have it the way I want it right flippin' now, I'm going to publically bash the object of my desire for not submitting to my gimme-gimme-now-now demands." So what you few tantrum-throwing people have succeeded in doing is twofold: You've given bad marks to an author you seem to actually admire, PLUS, perpetuated a stereotype of Kindle owners being snobs. Way to go, team!
If you really want the Kindle/e-reader to become a fully-integrated literary format, stop behaving like children while you're waiting for it to integrate.
As far as the book itself is concerned, when I found out I'd have to wait until June to own it on Kindle, I braved the harrowing & treacherous journey to my local library & checked it out the day it was released. Searching the deepest recesses of my memory, I was able to vaguely recall how to turn a paper page, and managed to read the entire book without injury or incident. Laughed myself silly, and had a great time doing it. I'm saddened that such tasks are so very difficult for some...because they're missing out on a GREAT BOOK! Chelsea delivers yet again! Anyone who enjoys a razor-sharp wit laced with sarcasm and irony will be delighted with this book from cover to cover. An absolute must-read for Chelsea fans. In fact, when it comes out on the Kindle in June, I'm going to buy it and read it again!
