Book Reviews of Che Guevara: A Revolutionary LifeBook Review: The BeST Book About Che Summary: 5 Stars
When one hears the word "communist" attached to the man we know as "Che," most Americans shrink from reading the book, and assume it is one that glorifies both the ideology and the man. This book is written in an unbiased fashion, and yet there will always be those who say it is pro-Che; this shows you the character of Ernesto Guevara. I read this book not really knowing who he was, and about 750 pages later, I had his famous face tatooed on my arm. To many he is an atheist's Jesus Christ, but this is detrimental to Che, he was real, and he truly gave his life for the people of the Earth. An artist, a writer, a genius, and a compassionate revolutionary, I concur wholeheartedly with Jean Paul Sartre that he was the most complete human being of our time, and suggest you read this book, it envokes the finite man eloquently.

Book Review: VIVA CHE! Summary: 5 Stars
Jon Lee Anderson's "Che Guevera" is a masterpiece. You know, some books talk about a subject and stick to it. This one tells the average reader, bombarded and blinded by a reactionary press, the things you didn't hear about but are the core of people like Che. Eisenhower Administration's "cozy" relationship with the notorious United Fruit. How the American Government cared more about exceeding the power of the already massive economy and the already very rich corporations, and to heck with the Latin Poor! This tells the true story of Latin America as a sexist and racist continent (Yes, very similar to Amerika) And one that has semi-colonized countries that bow down to American interests at all times. Anderson's Che offered hope and did more for the common man and did more for the poor than every U.S. President combined did for 50 years!
Book Review: Turns myth into man Summary: 5 Stars
Fascinating! This book shattered many misconceptions and myths that I grew up with concerning Che. The author obviously conducted exhaustive research to uncover Che the man and the forces and events in his life that formed the revolutionary he became. The US government would have us all believe that this man was an evil communist, bent on spreading his idealogy throughout the world when, in reality, his main motive was to stop western imperialism and the exploitation of the Latin American people and resources. By the time I finished this book I was grieving the loss of such a strong and passionate man who never waivered from his ideals. It is interesting to note that in many ways I was reminded of Bobby Kennedy when I read of Che Guevarra. I highly recommend this book to any student of 20th century political history!
