Book Reviews of Chasing Harry Winston: A NovelBook Review: This is by far BETTER than Sex & The City!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This book was amazing!!! I expected to read it over a month period, pages or chapters here and there. No way! I couldn't put it down. I found myself, being in the Navy and on a ship (underway at the time too), reading this book when I was supposed to be working. hahahaha I would literally get so into it, I would leave my workspace and go to my berthing to read, so I wouldn't be interrupted. I read this book in three days, and that was only because I had to do a little work and sleep too. I love it!!! Would love a part Review: Better than the Summary Description Summary: 5 Stars
The book delivery came quicker than the given date, which was great! The book itself was in great shape since I bought it used. Reading the book alone was not what I expected...it was intriguing and fun for those woman who love a good light romantic novel...this is the book and you guys have to read it. The writer puts you in the moment.
Book Review: Bought it because ... Summary: 5 Stars
I honestly bought this book because I didn't find anything better at the time.
Have to say I thought I would have been disappointed by it but I really liked it.
I bought it at the airport, in a foreign language (and it cost me double the price!!) - but after all it was kind of worth it.
Book Review: Chasing Harry Winston Summary: 4 Stars
Chasing Harry Winston is the story of three women from New York and their lives as they approach thirty. There is Adriana, exotic and beautiful from Brazil who uses men to get what she wants but is starting to worry about losing her looks; Emmy, just out of a long term relationship; and Leigh, in a serious relationship but having doubts.
This book is like gossiping with your girlfriends over martinis....except more glamourous than in real life, as they are attractive, wealthy, and have great jobs that enable them to travel to exotic places.
That endless glamour and celeb name dropping is slightly irritating at times, especially in regards to Adriana, but overall it's great escapism into an exciting world.
Book Review: fun! Summary: 4 Stars
This book was a fun summer read. I love Lauren's fluid writing style. She brings the characters to life where i feel as if i have met them before. If you liked her other novels "Devil Wears Prada" or "Everyone Worth Knowing" I am sure you will enjoy this one too. I cant wait for her next one!
