Terrific. Everything you need to know. But very meaty and long. I read the section I want to know at the time.
Book Review: Mason's Living Books Method Will Bear Fruit Summary: 3 Stars
The profound influence of Charlotte Mason, a dedicated educator of young women in Victorian England, continues to shape the classical home education philosophy of many contemporary parents. During the mid to late 1800s, Miss Charlotte Mason served as headmistress to an "infant " school, founded a teacher's college for young women, and wrote numerous books and letters on her philosophy of education. Many parents find the reading of the six volume set entitled Charlotte Mason's Original Homeschooling Series to be a tedious but extremely valuable endeavor. When I read the series, I had to read each volume (small spine)over a few weeks so that I could soak up all the valuable advice that Mason teaches.

Book Review: The quality of this publication (cardstock-like paper, layout, etc) makes reading difficult Summary: 2 Stars
These books are very small, the margins are very narrow, and the paper is very thick and stiff, like cardstock. It makes casual reading more work than it should be. I plan to return these books and order a more expensive, higher quality printing of Mason's work.
