Book Reviews of Charlie and the Chocolate FactoryBook Review: Fun and exciting Summary: 5 Stars
A classic children's book and rightly so. Roald Dahl is one of the great authors for children, which is obvious since his books are still fun, funny, and interesting for adults. The story is simple and sweet (that is not suppose to be a pun). The writing never talks down to children without being above their heads. You need to get this or any Roald Dahl book for any child you really care about (if they have a sense of humor or need to learn what it is to have one) or if you missed this classic as a child don't wait any longer and read it.
Book Review: One of my favorite classics! Summary: 5 Stars
Roald Dahl was immensely creative, as you can see in this book. If you have watched the movie and have not read the book, you have only experienced a sliver of Roald Dahl's imagination. The book is very much like both of the movies, but his descriptions and details in the book are magical. I would recommend this book to anyone, and it is, as it says in the title, one of my favorite books. If you like this book, I would recommend the sequel to this book, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, which is a worthy sequel to this classic.
Book Review: My kids were mesmerized reading this book. Summary: 5 Stars
This book was an assigned reading material this summer for my son who is in fourth grade this school year. I was very surprised how focused he was and maintained his interest 'til the last page of the book. It took him two days to finish the book and encouraged his 8 year old sister to read it as well. Suffice it to say, my daughter loved it too. Both agreed that the story was funny and easy to understand. Above all, they loved the lessons they learned from the story.
Book Review: Candy Man Summary: 5 Stars
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a funny, mouth watering story. Its about a boy named Charlie that has a very poor family and finds a golden ticket in one of Mr.Wonka's candy bars. Four other snobby kids get them too.So they go to the factory and have a wonderous and delicious adventure. I recommend this book for people that like to read about a fantasy story with tons of chocolate. I enjoyed this book because it had very descriptive details.
