Book Reviews of Cemetery DanceBook Review: The best book of the entire series . . . Summary: 5 Stars
Cemetery Dance is a return to form for Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. I personally felt that their last book "Wheel of Darkness" might have been an inclination of the decline of the series. I was proven wrong and thankfully so with the release of Cemetery Dance. I won't ruin the story or bore you with a summary of the book, I will just tell you that this book is fantastic and you will enjoy reading it. I wish the book would have been longer . . . 435 pages is not enough for a well-written story such as this one.
Book Review: Powerful & Chilling Summary: 5 Stars
I wish I could read slower - but these books gin up your blood, and if you dare put the book down it calls you back. Another Pendergast book that is unequalled. How do two men write such great stories TOGETHER? This book has more twists and turns, right up until the end, then the Ville itself. And at the end we are treated with a tidbit to let us know that another Pendergast and maybe another Nora is in the works. Don't pass this up. These writers will keep you up at night.
Book Review: Shocking! Summary: 5 Stars
Well, I must say, when I first started reading the book I didn't think I was going to like it...but as it went on...I loved it. I really am not into Zombie stories...but this proves out to be a great mystery and I love the way the writers take something you'd not believe and work it in the story until you believe it. I found this book to really turn out great and suprise me with the ending. I give this book an A++++++. I look forward to the next Pendergast novel!
Book Review: Surprises at the end of the book Summary: 5 Stars
I thought this book was a fun read. I have read most if not all of Preston's books and would rate this in the top half. Though not his best, certainly worth your time and money. The beginning chapters lead you to believe that this is just another teen zombie book. But hang in there because Agent Pendergast will keep you guessing right to the very end. Some very tense action scenes also toward the end of the book that will keep you up at night.
Book Review: Pendergast continues to be himself. Summary: 5 Stars
Another in the continuing saga of Agent Pendergast is all you need to know to pick up and read this book. It may be a "stand alone" novel, but I suspect there is another Agent Pendergast in the offing. I await it eagerly. A "real page-turner" to use an oft quoted phrase. As always, it is full of twists and turns, but it never lost my interest. If I could read that fast, I would have finished it in one sitting.
