Book Review: An inspiring, fun book for all interested in magic or Celts

This book offers a broad overview of Celtic spirituality and ritual, and although it is primarily a how-to manual for beginners, veteran magicians will learn a thing or two from its pages as well. Conway covers the mechanics of basic magic, pagan themes such as the Triple Goddess and the four elements, a basic history of the Celts and how they probably looked at their world, the eight pagan holidays or sabbats, a reference guide to prominent Celtic deities, supernaturals, and heroes, major mythological themes of Celtic Ireland and Wales, herb lore, and divinatory methods like the Ogham alphabet and the casting of colored stones. Also available is a chapter on basic spells for love, prophecy, prosperity, etc. Overall, this little book is stuffed with little treasures, and any beginner will be provided with an excellent foundation of knowledge.Book Review: I Use this Book Everyday

Anyone who has realized that organized religion is not for them should pick up this book by DJ Conway, Celtic Magic. It's made for everyday use, it is a wealth of information on the history of the Celts, of their gods/goddesses, of definitions, spells that anyone can do/use, tells you what tools you may need, describes the uses of different colored/scented candles, of herbs, of oils, contains rituals for each of the special days/equinoxes, etc. Hard to believe that such a small book could contain so much information. I can honestly say that this book has changed my life, it was exactly what I was looking for, I am going to buy another to keep at my desk and may start buying this book as gifts for others who seem to need it, or seem to be interested without even knowing it. This book truly fell right into my hands...Book Review: great for those who want to read about wiccan/celtic beliefs

A great book for those who wish to learn about the ancient wiccan/celtic pagan rituals and beliefs. Full of invaluable information concerning the uses of herbs and magic. Tells of the history of wiccans and the celtic druids and how their magic is intertwined with both religion and science. Contains a table of different herbs and their uses. Teaches one how to gain money; gain love; gain protection; gain prophecies; rid yourself of negatives; bind a trouble-maker; strengthen your psychic shield; promote physical, mental, and spiritual health. THIS BOOK IS EXTREMELY USEFUL FOR ANYONE WHO IS PRACTICING CELTIC MAGIC, HAS AN INTEREST IN MAGIC, OR IS SIMPLY LOOKING TO EXPAND THEIR KNOWLEDGE FOR CROSS REFERENCE. THE SECTION ON HERBS IS VERY HANDY WHEN DESIGNING RITUALS AND SPELLS FOR ALL PURPOSES. THE RITUALS INCLUDED IN THE BOOK ARE STRAIGHT FORWARD AND EXPLAINED IN A VERY CLEAR AND CONCISE MANNER AND MAKE MAGIC EASY TO UNDERSTAND FOR EVERYONE FROM THE NOVICE TO THE ADEPTBook Review: Best book on Celtic magick yet

When I first saw this book, I was drawn to it. The author's way of showing not just rituals, but the history of the Celtic people is great. It was nice to finally find a book that helps the reader to understand the was these People lived their lives. It was also helpful how the author explained how to Astrally Project. I recommend that anyone who is into Celtic magick get this book.
