This book is Real in the truest sense. Clearly written, with honesty and insight. The Rosie embellished and distorted by the media and the Rosie that wrote this book are quite obviously not the same. I find it baffling that people can loathe HER as they do: HER, not her opinions. A person that has cultivated the rare courage to tell their truth regardless of the repercussions, a life being lived as honestly as possible: How can that not be admired? After reading this book one cannot help but respect Rosie, if not her views. In my opinion failure to do so is a greater reflection upon the reader than it is on the material.Book Review: If you cut me, do I not bleed?

That's all it is folks, one human being with a platform to speak to the hearts of many. Miss O'Donnell has opened her heart, and her pocketbook, writing this book. Bottom line, she's like the rest of us, celebrity or not, rich or poor, when wounded she bleeds.
For those who find her book non-conforming to traditional writing format, or to paraphrase her criticizers, disjointed and her thoughts scattered, so be it. 'Art for art's sake' is not limited to an easel and a paint brush. It goes beyond that, availing itself to the paper and pen, if one opens their eyes and mind to the sheer beauty of it...

This book is a must read. Rosie is writing about her view on celebrity. That said, she is honest and heartfelt. This book is a little insight to the world of celebrity.
It's a book that no one else would write. She let's us in and invites us along for the ride. It's amazing and witty and thought provoking.
If you want a really great, easy to read book...this is the book for you. Buy it and get ready to read it from cover to cover. I can't read her other book...FIND ME.

Rosie puts herself out there for all of us, and I found that I could relate to many of her feelings. Reading about her sad childhood made me want to give her a hug, and I feel that the media has given her a raw deal all the way around. I was a big fan of her talk show; there she always had to put on a happy face for the audience. In this book, the mask comes off and she shows her vulnerable side, her life with Kelly and their kids, and the struggle she went through on "The View". Rosie, I still think you rock! This book is so great to me that I am reading it for the second time. I love this book! I love Rosie! She is the real deal. And through her writing shines her "yellow", her feelings, heartbreaking and humorous, keeping it real from beginning to end. Just as when you love a movie so much you can watch it over and over again and learn more and pick up things you didn't catch the first time. That is why I am reading this book again. If you have an open heart and an open mind this is a book worth reading and Ro is a human being worth getting to know. Peace out!
