Book Review: Incredible Read!!

This is a great, great book. I just wish it was longer!!! Charlie Huston's style is very easy to get into and very hard to put down once you've stared. After reading I immediately ordered his other 2 novels "6 bad things" and "Already Dead." Anyone who's into suspence, mobster, or just really good books will throughly enjoy this book. You can bet Huston will be around for awhile if all his books are anywhere near as good.Book Review: Noir with a big heart

Book Review: Hypnotic, breathless, and melodic

A breathless mistaken identity novel written in a textured noir tone that keeps the pages flying fast as lightning. Huston never overdoes the rhythm, but his structure is entrancing and his storytelling skills are spectacular. This one never lets up -- it's almost exhausting to read. In a good way.
Relentless, brutal, funny, dark, and entrancing. Highly recommended

I couldnt put this book down. I read it in one weekend. I have since bought everything Charlie Huston has written. I am an animal lover and I was on the edge of my seat worried about the cat Bud the whole time. I met Charlie Huston at comic con a few years ago and he was such a nice guy. I finally have a favorite author. If you love this book buy all of his!!!Book Review: Whoa!

I had an hour to kill the other day waiting for some friends to come over. I didn't want to get into anything heavy and I had this book on the shelf so I thought I'd read a few pulpy pages. I bailed out on my friends and read the entire book in one sitting. Don't start it if you don't have a few hours, there's no place to get off of the roller coaster.
