Book Review: Carrie's Story- Way Hot

This was the first real BDSM book I read that made me uncomfortable. As I read this book, I quickly realized that the other books were just erotic fiction and not BDSM at all.
This reads almost like a true story - I have to wonder if this is modeled after the authors true life or somebody she knows. If not, then she writes in such a way, that you forget you are reading fiction.
Carrie is a college student, bright, funny, pretty and with certain urges she is just finding out about. When she meets Jonathan, he turns her world upside down. Carrie agrees to be his part time slave - this inludes beatings, humiliations and very rough sex. Clearly, this is a part of herself that Carrie is just finding out about and she is all set to learn and try to please her master.
Eventually, he decides to sell Carrie in the sex slave market. At first Carrie is sad the he no longer wants her, but eventually she comes to the realization that she wants to please her master and if being sold does that, then she will do it. She gives up her entire life for a full year and is sold.
The book ends with her being handed to her new master.
The things I learned in this book were wild. The things I learned about myself were a little wild as well. The great thing about Carrie, is that even though she completely submits to others, she never loses her intelligence. You always like her and she never seems desperate.
There is very rough language and a lot of pain. Carrie is not a pain slut, but being punished for her misdeeds as well as for her master's pleasure are what make her a submissive. It may be hard for some to read, but I couldn't put it down.
Book Review: not the deepest book in the world, but a very sexy one

this is the story of a young sexy beautiful women and her quest from meeting johnatan, her rich, older successful lover, to exepting life as a sexual slave, and eventualy, being sold into sexual slavery. as she goes through her journy, the story goes from her ordinery life in new york, to a fantasy pony farm and to a europien slaves training and selling center. through all those location, we get to see her being used, humaliated and showed in verious possitions, situations and people.she is very intelegent and funny and i found her voice to be belivable and identifiable mostly in the begining of the story (plus, she likes a lot of the same books and movies that i do) but i found the story to be a bit too shallow for my taste, all the people are gorgous, everyone's happy, and i couldn't feel her having real doubts and real fears, at many points in the book it just seem like a wraping plot to show as many diffrent sex situation you can put in 200 pages.
my favorite erotic novels are "the story of O", "the story of the eye" and "the marketplace" series, the reson for that was that although they show very imaginative and fictional situation, the carecters are very deep and show of conflicts and original thoughts - which makes them more belivable to me, i didn't felt like that reading "carrie's story" it was a sexy turn on romance novel with a few twisted, but i don't feel i was inriched by it.
Book Review: Really Great Introduction To BDSM

I was really impressed with Carrie's Story. It is well written and made me read it really quickly, in fact it was over all too soon. Unlike a lot of erotica or related items, the focus here is on the story and the plot, they are not simply motives to string sex scenes together. I am not into the scene enough to say how realistic this is, but it makes me yearn to attend a lecture or chat room with a real "Carrie". The story probably raises as many questions as it finally answers, and leaves a beautiful opening for a sequel (please, Molly!).
Overall, skip it if you're prudish or just don't think you could ever relate to people who choose this lifestyle. Everyone else, you'll love it!
Book Review: Very Good Read,

I had a friend in the lifestyle give me this book to read, saying it was extremely good. So I took it and read it. I have to admit, and as someone involved in the BDSM community as a submissive for over 3 years, it WAS a very good read. I truly did enjoy how the author conveyed the feelings of someone that is being exposed for the first time to BDSM. Like all erotic fiction, it still has its points of being slightly outlandish and other worldly in some of the scenes. It is fantasy after all lol, which is good in a book! It is more realistic than many a erotic BDSM fiction, I will give the author that and for that I do applaud. I look forard to reading the sequel that is also out in print.Book Review: a pretty good read

I bought this book out of morbid facination for pony play. I liked it. It wasn't unbelievably spectacular, but it was a good read. It describes a young woman's journey through slavery, being trained as a pony and being sold at a slave auction. Everything was well described. The book had good character development and plot. It allows you a window into Carrie's mind through her journey through sexual slavery. It is very erotic and graphic--definitely not for the closed-minded or those easily offended by sexual subject matter.
