Book Reviews of Can You Keep a Secret?Book Review: I Laughed, Giggled, and Shrieked My Way Through the Whole Book! Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book and yes I did do all the things my title implies. I haven't read this good of a book in a while! I love Sophie Kinsella's Becky but Emma is MUCH funnier...and I didn't start off hating her lol. I just read A Desirable Residence (which was horrible by the way) by Madeleine Wickham (Kinsella's real name) and it's just amazing the difference between them! Can You Keep a Secret? is now my favorite book by this author and I think she will have a very hard time topping this.
Book Review: Overwhelmingly good!! What a fun read! Summary: 5 Stars
I am not typically one to laugh out loud when reading but this book made it. I could not hold back my giggles and laughter so many times!
This is a very sweet, traditional romance book but with so much more. I don't normally keep my books after I finished them(I sell them on Amazon) but this is something I definitely want to keep on a shelf and share with friends. Actually, I have made my "never read a book"coworker read it and she loved it! That's how good this book is!
Book Review: Funny and Entertaining...Def. Recommend! Summary: 5 Stars
I have read a few of Sophie Kinsella/Madeleine Wickham's books but this one was my favorite so far. It was funny, entertaining, and great quick read. Like all of her books, there was a really cute love story as well as a story about friendship. The main character is one that we all can relate with and you will be rooting for her the whole time. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something light and entertaining...perfect to read while traveling or at the beach.
Book Review: Amazing! Fast Read! Summary: 5 Stars
I completely loved this book! This was the first Sophie Kinsella book that I read, even though my mother kept telling me to read The Undomestic Goddess, which I read as soon as I finished this one. I read this book in a total of 36 hours from the time I bought it at school to the time I finished it the next day. It was so funny, and I didn't even mind the fact that it was written in first person. Anyone who likes Jennifer Crusie will love this book!
Book Review: Loved it! Summary: 5 Stars
Great, face-paced novel that keeps you turning pages well into the night. That says a lot coming from me because I'm a hot-cold Sophie Kinsella reader -- really enjoy some of her books, The Shopaholic series however makes me want to scream (words can't describ how much I hated the series - couldn't even get past book 2 because the main character was so obnoxious & stupid).
This, however, is a great read with interesting characters.
