Book Review: What about the writers themselves?

This isn't about the contents of the book so much as how the writers were or weren't consulted about this. Was every writer included in this book paid properly for it? Did the editor get their permission to reprint their articles here? I'm not hearing good things about this from former Creem writers and editors.
