Book Reviews of Bud, Not Buddy

Book Review: A Kid's Review
Summary: 5 Stars

I liked the book Bud, Not Buddy a lot! I would give it a ten out of ten. I really liked Bud's rules. They were hilarious! Bud escapes from a "vampire bat", steals a car, and even meets a "vampire"! Even though I prefer to read books about science, I still loved this book. The book had a surprising twist at the end. It was a humorous, unpredictable, exciting book! I would recommend Bud, Not Buddy to everyone!

Book Review: A Kid's Review
Summary: 5 Stars

Bud, Not Buddy is an amazing book. If you read it you will not be able to put it down. It will be like your fingers are glued to the pages. The story is about a young boy named Bud...not Buddy. Bud is a boy from an orphanage on a search for his dad. He is hilarious! He follows rules on how to make a better liar out of yourself and have a funnier life. The end of the book has a great surprise.

Book Review: This book will stick with me
Summary: 5 Stars

Christopher Paul Curtis is becoming a favorite of mine. This book is beautiful. I wanted to cry in the beginning and my heart felt full at the end. He gives a nice talk at the end of the audiobook about how two of the characters are fashioned after his grandfathers. The book is set in the Depression and focused on a boy named Bud.

Book Review: used but just like new
Summary: 5 Stars

The book was in excellent condition. If I didn't know any better I would have thought it wasn't used. The pages were not folded and it wasn't written in, like most books. It was delivered on time.(Great Service) This is also an interesting book. It kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to read more and more.
