Book Reviews of Brian's WinterBook Review: Brian's Winter Review Summary: 5 Stars
"Fall came on with a softness, so that Brian didn't realize what was in store- a hard- spined northwoods winter until it was nearly too late." Brian's Winter is the sequel of Hatchet. Now, Brian has to survive the northwoods winter that Canada has to offer. This book is very misleading and it catches you offguard such as when Brian gets attacked by a moose.
I personally like this book because it shows how you could survive in a life or death situation. This book is a medium difficulty for a kind of kid like me. Also, this book is fiction so don't get scared. You could also try some other books by Gary Paulsen such as Hatchet or The River. I would reccomend this book to readers who like action and mystery because this book has these traits.
What will happen to Brian? Will he survive? Read this book to find out.
Book Review: I Would Say This Book Is A Five Star Winner And Two Thumbes Summary: 5 Stars
Brians Winter is by Gary Paulsen. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. It did it with me. It is a book you will love and may even make you want to read it again. This is an exciting story of Brian, a thirteen year old boy who gets lost in the woods after his plane goes down. You are probably wondering how a thirteen year old boy survives in the wilderness all by himself. Well he gets charged by a moose, meets a skunk, who he names Betty, and gets attacked by a bear. Keep in mind that the only thing he has to defend him elf with is an ax and a club. People that enjoy being outdoors will enjoy this tale. You will like the ending to the story. Brian has few tricks of the trade like he smokes the meat he gets. He is very independent. As you can see that this is a great book to read.
Book Review: A Cold Winter's Month Summary: 5 Stars
Brian's Winter, a book written by Gary Paulsen, is an action packed adventure about a 13 year old boy who, in the previous book, was stranded in the Canadian Wilderness with a hatchet and a plane's survival pack. In this book, the Winter has come and Brian has to use healthy tactics to get food, build a shelter and make weapons. He also has to protect himself from such animals as skunks, Bears, and wolves. This book has many great adventure that will make you want to keep on reading. I think this book should be given to Army Trainers so they can teach their soldiers how to survive. But, in my personal preference, this book had some areas where it could have been improved. Take the ending for example. Oh, I guess you'll have to read the book and see what you would like to change.

Book Review: Brian's Winter Summary: 5 Stars
In Brians Winter, the sequel of Hatchet, written by Gary Paulsen, Brian is still stranded in the woods fending for himself. He has found a survival, but inside there is no communication device. This means that he has to stay in the woods for much longer. When the gun that Brian found in the survival kit breaks, Brian must make a more heavy-duty bow-and-arrow than the one he already has. This way he can kill bigger game so he doesnt have to go hunting as much during the winter. One night, when Brian is out in the woods hunting, he finds a straight, smooth trail that no animal can make. The next day, he decides to follow the path. A little ways in he turns a corner and there are three wolves
