Book Review: Learning made simple!

My daughter is going to be five in 2 weeks, and will be entering kindergarten in the fall of next year. We have been working on getting her ready for some school placement testing, since her school is very focused on the academic.
Until this book, we have just been getting really frustrated with the usual assortment of flash cards and 'random' learning methods that get thrown into the mix under the guise of 'helping'. Not only has it not been helping, but she gets frustrated too.
Finding this book has been the best thing ever! It's exactly the thing we've been searching for to help give our daughter the boost she needs to excel. It's the same thing that they give to her in preschool, fun colorful worksheets, but that we can really focus on individually at home.
The format is easy, with each page being a tear out work sheet. The information given to explain the page to our child is very simple, making it easy for her to understand the concept, and for us to explain it.
Alphabet, numbers, counting, etc. Nothing, and I mean nothing is missed.
I am already so confident after using this that I know I'm going to be getting another for when my son reaches kindergarten age.
It's just a great tool to help boost her confidence and skill set.
