Book Review: A "Must Have" for Serious Riflemen
Summary: 5 Stars
This was my first book by Mr. Royce. I keep referring to his chapters on the M1A/M-14 type rifle and the "Rating the Battle Rifles" as his analysis is very detailed and logical.The only reason, and I mean "only" reason I don't give this book a higher rating is because all they allow is 5 stars.
Novice and journeyman riflemen and women can use this book every day. It really pays for itself. The only tiny bit of constructive criticism I have is that Mr. Royce did not, for whatever reason, round out his evaluation of the M1A/M-14 type rifle with input from Fulton Armory, Inc.,on receivers (good and bad ones). They've been around for quite awhile and enjoy a sterling reputation in both expertise and customer service. Maybe in the next update?
Best money I've spent on a shooting book in a long time. PS, I'm a long time DCM shooter and retired military, so I've seen quite a few references, both military and civilian.
Book Review: If you have any interest in guns...

I have bought three of Boston's books within the past three years and consider them among the most important I own. I have read each through at least twice and refer back to them often. My wife chides me: "Do you read the "real" Bible this often?" I only wish I had encountered Boston earlier, since the education I've gained would have helped me make better choices.
BGB has much to offer anyone with interest in guns. Particularly, his books concern the use of guns the way the 2nd Amendment was intended. That said, there's more to do here with defense than hunting. Gun and equipment reviews, political and historical essays, how-to information regarding buying and selling, all with the object of helping restore our country into a nation of riflemen. It's also an excellent resource for other books and gun related sources.
If you buy one book about guns, this is it.
Book Review: Read It Quckly!

Boston's Gun Bible is a detailed and enlightening history and overview of responsible gun ownership in America. It comments on a wide range of topics from the law, the history of battle rifles, women and firearms, equipment reviews, tactics, practical instruction and political philosophy. The book is especially relevant today in light of increasingly centralized governmental control of individual lives, even if some of the legislative references may be affected by subsequent legislation. There is so much information packed into it that it will probably be read by me multiple times and serve as a reference and guide. While there are some minor typos and awkward phrasing, I strongly recommend it for anyone interested in self defense as an inalienable right (and their friends), but you really had better read it quickly before you're prohibited from acting on its valuable information.Book Review: A Valuable Reference Book

Having purchased and read Boston's Gun Bible a little over a year ago, I have found myself using it as a valuable quick reference book many times over the past year. This is a book which one should read cover to cover as soon as it is acquired. In fact, if you love information on guns, tactics, ancillary equipment, legal caveats, and political insights, then you will, like me, be unable to put this book down before you have finished reading it. But, having read through it once, you will find yourself wanting to keep this book handy for quick references or just interesting quick re-reads of sections of particular interest. I have enjoyed this book so much, and found it so valuable, that I have purchased and given several copies to family members and friends, all of whom have seemed equally enthusiastic about the book. Let me make it plain and simple. If you are an American, you are not a fascist or a communist, and your not an illegal immigrant or a supporter of a one world government, then I think this is the book for you.
Every American who is not one of the following has a duty to read this book, and properly assess the information and take Bostons multitude of advice. I am so glad there are writers out their like Boston T. Party who are doing a service by helping combat all the liberal fascist propaganda that is currently pervading modern academia and the media, brainwashing the masses into becoming "sheeple" (a half breed between a person and a sheep).
This is an important book which will help prepare all those who love liberty and freedom defend those ideals, and the constitution, from all enemies, foreign and domestic!
