Book Reviews of Bondage For SexBook Review: Combining sex and shibari just got easier... Summary: 5 Stars
I've known Chanta Rose for a very short time, and was surprised when I heard she was coming out with a book. Unfortunately, at the event I heard about it, there were only 20 copies available, and I did not have the chance to buy it, but I was able to look through and read others.
I don't even know what to say about this book it is so amazing. It is a full color book, and the pictures are amazing. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. While most shibari books give you what are generally considered "the basics" of bondage, Chanta's book shows you how to take that one step further and tie your partner up into erotic positions, making them readily available to tease or to *censored*.
Now, I would not consider this a book for people who already have the basics and want to learn more intricate ropework. However, it is great for newbies who don't necessarily want to tie their partner up into a pretty little package, but want to be able to play with them too.
Book Review: top knotch Summary: 5 Stars
Finally an elegant coffee table-esque book that features simple bondage ties that are both easy to understand and functional.
If you seek a myriad of ties I suggest you lookup a Boy Scout page for that endeavor. Here you will find what every expert already knows, basic knots and how to apply them. In bondage that is all you really need. There are three basic ties and everything else is built upon that foundation.
This book manages to emphasize the beauty of the poses and ropework without overcomplicating the process. Of all the books in my collection I utilize this one's information more often than any other (sorry JD and Dan, I love your classes and performances but in the heat of the moment I am uninterested in creating a marionette).
Book Review: Superb; a great place to start "learning the ropes" Summary: 5 Stars
I own a fair collection of BDSM/Bondage educational books but none of them are visually stunning enough to have out as a coffee table book, this one is. Of course, this is just an added bonus to learning what the book has to teach, which is how to tie up your partner for sex. The positions are well thought out and each position also offers a "variation" that may work better for someone less flexible, or if a couple wants to try something more challenging.
The instructions are easy to follow (I started practicing on myself), the photography is stunning and the positions are great for sex!
A must have for any kink-curious couple or even seasoned BDSM player, it has certainly helped my girlfriend and I to have bondage sex!
Book Review: The best book for couple to try together Summary: 5 Stars
I've got a fairly large collection of bondage related books, and this has got to be far and away my favorite. This has been the first book I've found where you can sit down with your partner together, look at a lot of cool pictures (instead of line drawings) and choose together a position/tie that you both like, and then try it out. The positions in the book, while attractive, aren't just that. They are meant to be used. There are plenty of pictures on how to tie the different knots, so even if you are an expert, and your partner isn't, they can still use things on you.
I really enjoyed the book, can't wait for the sequel, and would buy any other book the author chooses to write.
Book Review: Chanta Rose is direct & speaks from experience..... Summary: 5 Stars
I don't know what it is about S/M that fascinates me, but this one is really the best one on the subject of the Do's Don't's of bondage, me & my ex engaged in this practice a lot when we were married, & it has to be done right in order to get the maximum benefit of the act itself, Chanta Rose is one you can trust on this subject simply because she herself has been on the giving & recieving end of this practice, I have seen enough of her pictures on the Internet to know this to be true, there are lots of books on this subject, but this one is the best one I have read so far on the subject & Chanta Rose is a true professional in this book..
