Book Reviews of Bond on Set: Filming Casino RoyaleBook Review: Collector's Item Summary: 5 Stars
This book has some amazing photos from the production of the movie. I believe it is a must-have for any fan of this recent movie and a fantastic piece for your collector's item library. I love the picture on the deskjacket and the same picture is on the book as well. Its worth the price for sure. I do wish there were a few more pictures of Daniel Craig though and not so many of other characters but it is in fact a book of photos from the filming of it so that should be expected. The pics are fantastic though and there are some nice questions/comments asked to Daniel Craig in the back that make it even more interesting.. Awesome book.
Book Review: CASINO ROYALE WINNER FROM GREG WILLIAMS! Summary: 5 Stars
Beautifully produced record of the making of Casino Royale. It's rare to find such an intensely personal and sensitive collection, and an instant collectible for those with an eye for such things. With Greg Williams' unlimited access to the set, and his previous work with Daniel Craig [eg the outstanding photos accompanying the article "Oh Danny Boy!" for uk Marie Claire] the time is ripe for him to produce another book, and devoted entirely to Craig, the finest actor working today. The release of Casino Royale will hopefully encourage moviegoers to check Amazon DVDs for his previous films, to confirm this for themselves.
Book Review: Best Bond Summary: 5 Stars
I've always been a Sean Connery Bond man. Some guys are Roger Moore guys...etc..
I even thought Pierce Brosnan was the best since Connery. So when the announcement of Daniel Craig as Bond surfaced I was not too thrilled. But as soon as I saw the movie I was sold! If not actually better than Connery (I'm still debating), he's right on par with a new take.
"Bond on Set" is a great picture essay all about the making of "Casino Royale". It puts you there like a little visit to the set. If you like Bond and if you like the reboot of "Casino Royale", pick it up!
Book Review: Excellent Picture Book For Bond Fans Summary: 5 Stars
I have been a Bond fan forever - first the films, then the novels. Casino Royale was a great re-boot of the film series, and after much discussion as to the choice of Daniel Craig as the new Bond, he has been accepted by the fans.
This book is chock-full of beautiful behind-the-scenes photographs from the many locations around the world. There is not much writing, but not much needs to be said when you can enjoy these large, clear pictures.
This is a must for the collection of Bond fans!
Book Review: Impressive looking Daniel Craig in CASINO ROYALE Summary: 5 Stars
Photography is a hobby of mine and I found this collection of photographs from CASINO ROYALE to be very insightful. The images are striking, candid and effectively reproduced. This is a quality publication and really makes Daniel Craig look fabulous as James Bond. Craig certainly looks like Ian Fleming's blunt instrument with his rough and roughish looks captured with charismatic fervor in the photographs in this book.
