Book Review: sophisticated comfort food with a personal touch

I am the owner of at least 100 cookbooks collected over a 40 year period. My niece wanted a copy of this book for her birthday and the recipe link she sent me looked so good I ordered one for myself. I have tried upwards of a dozen recipes in just a few weeks which says something right there. Food is great, recipes are easy to follow and for the most part contain ingredients I have on hand. Each recipe comes with a charming background story that makes it special just for that reason. Start with the blackberry cobbler - too easy but delicious.
