I have been using the Bob books for one of my studens last 7 months. He loves them. For children who have challenge to learn reading, the Bob books are perfect. Their very simple stories are not intimidating, but give just right amount of new challenge to move up. We started with Bob book series when my 3 year old daughter was comfortable with zoophonics. These books are easy way to get her into reading with the illustrated hilarious pictures. The series gradually challenges and encourages her to make the blends and endings of sounds in each 3 or 4 letter word. As a reward, she gets to color the page as soon as she finishes reading the single line page.Book Review: Help your child tackle reading

I love this product because it is tailor-made for your child's reading and comprehension level. The best part is that the length of the books and the sentences is just right. All the books I used to read to my six year old are overwhelming to her. These are my childs favorite reading books. She's five and asked for sets 4 and 5 for Christmas. Very well put together. It uses repetition for sounds and word groups. Good short sentences that aren't insulting to age level. Much more than "See the cat." The pictures are good in that they don't give away the sentences...the child still has to READ the words.Book Review: Great Books for Beginning Readers

Any of the Bob books are great. Our son was having difficulty reading and with the help of the Bob Books he is catching-up to his classmates. Highly recommended by my son's teachers, these are quick book that my son likes to read and that help him develop the reading skills he needs for school.
