What a wonderful, uplifting, thought provoking book. I'm a huge Dean Koontz fan but hadn't read any or for that matter, even known that his dog had written books. Then I read The Darkest Evening Of The Year. I'm an animal lover and have often thought that if people could be more like dogs, our lives would be Nirvana. The way that he wrote about the dogs in that book was right on the money so I went on a search for more. I wasn't disappointed. My most recent purchase was A Big Little Life....also written by Dean Koontz. I can't wait to read it. I hope he keeps them coming!!
