Book Review: losing the touch

nikki giovanni's book of poetry, bicycles, has had little impact on me. it's quite watery compared to previous books of hers such as "my house".
just because giovanni is in her 60's now, should not mean that she can't come up with sparkling work; but i feel this book flops. if i wrote this collection, i would not bother sending it to a publisher.
