Book Review: Excellent Book!

I have long been a fan of Patrick Woodroffe's artwork - his use of color, his dreamlike design and amazing illustrative abilities have always held me spellbound. When I first heard about this book, my anticipation was almost debilitating. I could not live without seeing this book! Luckily, patience paid off, and I finally was able to get a copy of "Benign Icons." My anticipation was worth it - I am completely blown away by the artwork in this volume.
In an age of Photoshop, Mr. Woodroffe still makes his masterworks in his traditional untraditional way. A master of mixed media, Patrick Woodroffe weaves media from crayon to oil paints into amazing fantasy tapestries. Add to this his gentle, stream-of-consciousness method of design, and the result is page after page of visions ranging from the whimsical to the apocalyptic, all rendered with his signature gentle finely-detailed hand and eye.
This book is WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION!
