Summary: 5 Stars
What a lovely book about friendship! This book is ideal for the younger audience, 6 and under, but still it contains good lessons for all ages. The two girls in the story are different races and talk about what makes them friends. They share things they both like and things one likes and the other doesn't. I love the way this book emphasizes the vital point that you don't have to agree or pretend to agree with someone to be friends with them. Nobody learns in an echo chamber and the girls learn from each other. The illustrations are first rate.
Cole Porter's upbeat classic "Friendship" is the soundtrack of this book.
