I got this for a baby shower gift for someone. I wanted to give something that could last. I ended up buying one for myself. It's a trip down memory lane reading the sweet stories and looking at the beautiful pictures. I enjoy reading the stories to my grandchildren, and they have enjoyed them well past the age when one would think they were too old for them. This is an absolutely wonderful book. The illustrations are beautiful and the stories can be enjoyed by all. I am a college student and love these stories. I purchased this book for myself but ended up giving it to a friend for her new twins. I'm sure they will enjoy it as much as I did. Beautiful publication. I read Peter Rabbit as a child long ago and didn't realize it was Beatrix Potter. She's a special favorite of mine.
