Book Review: Just the way I rememberd them!

My husband and I are expecting our first baby soon and wanted to be able to read her all of the old stories that were read to us when we were very small. Unfortunately we don't have those books anymore so I've been looking for them online. This Beatrix Potter collection is a beautiful hard-bound book that comes with a cardboard slipcover and has all of the original illustrations. We love it.Book Review: Beatrix Potter

After seeing the movie about Beatrix Potter I wanted to have a book that contained all of her stories and illustrations and this book fit the bill. The illustrations are all her original works including preliminary pen drawings rarely seen. It is a substantial book that comes with a hard cover protector. I was extremely impressed with this book that I bought for my ten year old daughter. The English in the book is maybe a little too difficult for some children. However I was really impressed with the art work and fantastic layout of this book. You know I saw that movie Ms. Potter and learned all about Peter Rabbit and the other characters. I was so enchanted with the movie that I had to buy the book. It was very lovely to see them all bound in one beautiful book with a lovely book sleeve--- Very NICE!! This would make a wonderful gift for a new baby or a special Easter gift.
