I bought this book, thinking that it would provide a guide to various basket-making traditions and also that it would provide details of the relevant techniques.
It's a beautiful and inspiring book, however, because of the breadth of material covered, there is very little detail provided on any particular tradition and next to nothing about the techniques used.
The book inspired me to go and look for other books on specific techniques, but, in retrospect, I probably wouldn't buy it again.
