Book Review: Just took the AFOQT...

I am a cadet in an Air Force ROTC program and just took the AFOQT. Other cadets and myself spent a lot of time studying together and I saw several different test prep books by this one was by far the best. I say this because the rotated blocks and instrument reading in THIS book looked EXACTLY like how they are on the actual AFOQT. Even the hidden figures used in BARRON's book were the same figures that I had to look for on the test (of course they were different puzzles though).
And let me tell you... some other test prep books didnt even come close to looking how the actually AFOQT does. Also, all of the review sections in this book really help freshen up those verbal, science, and aviation information questions with detailed explanations of the answers so you can learn the concepts! 5 Stars!
Book Review: The only book you'll need!

I bought this book about two months ago to help prepare for taking the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test. This book was a massive help to me while studying, it contains pretty much all the info you need. For my case, I was very pleased to find that this book has two FULL LENGTH AFOQT's, along with the timing regulations you'll encounter when taking the real thing. I can't understate how helpful these practice test were for me, long story short, I took the AFOQT two weeks ago and didn't have a single score below 90. I'm now well on my way to becoming an Air Force pilot and I owe a lot of it to Barron's. SPEND THE MONEY. BUY THIS BOOK! It's the only resource you need to succeed!Book Review: WOW!

This was by far the most important book I've ever purchased in my life! This book had it all! I mean IT ALL!!!
I used it to take the AFOQT and wow!
without this book I would have been miserable!
if you are taking a military officer test, this will make you the happiest man ever.
my pilot score was an 82, nav 95, verb 68, quant 96, academic 91.
without this book i would have scored in the 50s or less in every category.

The book gives a good overview of the topics on the exam. It also clarifies well which sections are important for each of the different exams so you don't waste valuable study time studying things that are not going to be on your exam. It provides the right amount of material without going too in depth about things that you already know. The practice exams are helpful but also have explanations in the answer key for why a certain answer is correct.Book Review: Great Test Prep Book--Very Helpful

This book is the best one out there to help prepare for any service's flight aptitude test! It's the most up to date and it has really helpful review info and problems. The best part is that the answers to the practice tests are explained thoroughly--something the other books don't do so well. I found a few typos, but the publisher says they have been corrected in the most recent reprint. Recommend it highly!
