Book Review: These are great for building your vocabulary

I'm a relatively new asl student. have taken a couple classes now. I bought these cards largely to give me something to do for a train ride home for the holidays.
I wish I had bought these cards when I first started taking asl. Here's what I like about them:
(1)For beginners they have 500 of some of the most common words you will learn in a beginners class. If you spend a few minutes a day with these words before you start taking an asl class, you will be at a great advantage.
(2)I like that they are small enough to fit in your backpack or purse. You can test yourself while in line at the grocery store, at the bus stop, or waiting for a train.
(3)The ring is nice too. The cards all have a little hole in them and come with a ring so that you can put the hard to remember cards together. That way you can put those cards in a backpack or purse and practice them when you have a few spare moments on the go.
It would be nice if they gave some clues as to how to remember the signs on the back like another book I have does. But you can pretty much look at these signs and come up with your own ways of remembering them.
These are great for building your vocabulary.
I'd love to see another 500 signs II package come out like this.

Full-color photos on flash cards present close-ups of a model demonstrating 500 American Sign Language (ASL) signs. The meanings, brief descriptions of hand and arm motions, and related words are listed on the reverse side of each card. Correct formations of hand shapes and facial expressions are clearly shown to eliminate any possible confusion regarding intended word meanings. Where appropriate, photos include directional arrows that show hand or arm movements. Each flash card has a hole in one corner to accommodate a metal ring included with the boxed set. Users can select and fit any combination of cards they please to combine relevant words and create statements, or to review signs that they have difficulty identifying.
