Book Review: Out of Touch Writing

The story itself was great, gripping and now that I'm done I want more. The problem lies with Robards writing style. I've read past books of hers and loved them, but this one seemed to be not so well written. Her dialogue and narrating just made Robards seem out of touch with her audience; she seemed to be writing as a 40-50 year old women, but narrating the life and voices of those in their late 20s-mid 30s. Other than I had no complaints.
