A wonderful book to explain where people go if you are not particularly resigned to a religion. Talks about an afterlife without all the trappings of gods and deities and repenting and redemption. Just a nice tale about how friends and family mourn and how they cope with a death of a good friend.
It will help children understand that memories can't be taken away and lessons learned are with you forever.
