Book Reviews of Bad Luck and Trouble (Jack Reacher)Book Review: Getting to know you, getting to know all about you Summary: 5 StarsThe Jack Reacher series is great. Some of the best parts are snippets of his past history as an MP major. This book has more of his history than any other.
Book Review: A nonchalant killer Summary: 2 StarsI think I read the first Jack Reacher novel years ago and was turned off by the amount of violence. I thought I would give another one of the books a try. Wish I hadn't. The finale of the book is basically a celebration of violence perpetrated by someone who in any state approaching reality would be an extremely dangerous sociopath. This is fantasy for people who've never dealt with violence and death in the real world.
Book Review: Great Summary: 5 StarsTerrific book. An actual "can't put down" type. Great characters, action, narrative and ending.
Book Review: Typical Jack Reacher Summary: 4 StarsThis was a great read, typical Jack Reacher. Raw, tough, uncompromising. Lee Child has created a character who every male would love to be able to emulate.
Book Review: Big Reacher Fan...This Didn't Cut It Summary: 1 StarsI have very much enjoyed all the other reacher novels. This one did not have the magic. (All of a sudden he's obsessed with numbers??) I'm very sorry to say it but the book was stilted. I hope the next one is back to form.
