Book Review: A nonchalant killer

I think I read the first Jack Reacher novel years ago and was turned off by the amount of violence. I thought I would give another one of the books a try. Wish I hadn't. The finale of the book is basically a celebration of violence perpetrated by someone who in any state approaching reality would be an extremely dangerous sociopath. This is fantasy for people who've never dealt with violence and death in the real world.Book Review: Nothing To Lose

I was very disappointed in "Nothing To Lose". The other Jack Reacher novels were very good. The best of the series "Bad Luck & Trouble".
"Nothing To Lose" did not have the usual suspense, intrigue and even Jack Reacher seemed less interesting!!
Book Review: Big Reacher Fan...This Didn't Cut It

I have very much enjoyed all the other reacher novels. This one did not have the magic. (All of a sudden he's obsessed with numbers??) I'm very sorry to say it but the book was stilted. I hope the next one is back to form.
