Book Reviews of Bad Blood (Crimson Moon, Book 1)

Book Review: Another Great Series by L.A. Banks!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is an exciting new series from the creator of the Vampire Huntress Legends! Sasha is a werewolf whose more feral attributes are controlled through medicine. She works for a paranormal military group and her life changes dramatically when her pack leader goes through some bizarre transformation. Mystery, action and romance abound for Sasha as she is introduced to a new world by Hunter, a Shadow Wolf.

I really enjoyed the book and can't wait for the sequel to come out. Sasha and Hunter are HOT! I never wanted a steak as bad as I did after that diner scene. So many surprises in one little book. Wow!

My one complain would be the beginning. I had no problem getting through it because I knew it was going to be good. Some of my friends had trouble with the world building in the beginning of the book. It is a lot of information to take in and there is a lot of politics to keep straight among the different fractions in Sasha's world. The human military who thinks they can control everything. The vampires who you can never trust. The different groups within the werewolf clans. And on and on. Like I said, a lot to take in and digest but so worth it!

If you like werewolf stories and would enjoy a different spin on the genre, definitely check out Bad Blood.

Book Review: A good entry into a new series
Summary: 3 Stars

Though I must admit the ending left you with a decent number of questions this was a good beginning for L. A. Banks new werewolf series. I only hope that it can stand up to the vampire huntress series.

Book Review: MACbooklover
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm only half-way through the book and I love it!!! Totally seperate from the Vampire Huntress series which I love just as much. LA Banks has given me what I've been longing for in a great read. Keep up the good work.

Book Review: L.A. Banks serving up werewolves in Bad Blood!
Summary: 5 Stars

Sasha Trudeau is a Special Ops soldier. She and her elite team of soldiers are highly trained and unique to their unit because they are sole survivors of past werewolf attacks.
While on a solo mission Sasha receives important Intel relevant to their war on infected werewolves. Upon her return home and subsequent interview with her commanding officer, Sasha discovers that her team members haven't reported in from their mission and are MIA.

Max Hunter is a shadow clan wolf who is also tracking infected werewolves for another undercover group. While hunting an infected wolf Max meets soldier Trudeau under very intense circumstances. Max finds Sasha both feisty and attractive, its love at first sight.

Now Max and Sasha along with other select members from both sides must work together to end this senseless war on their kind. Government political plots, conspiracy, double deals, betrayal murder and mayhem, are only the beginning to Crimson Moon Series.

Crimson Moon is a fast-paced, action packed series, with so many new plot twists and turns you will need to buckle up for the ride.
L.A. Banks hits us with another awesome paranormal series. Banks introduces her fans to a new group of kick butt soldiers, in a new style battle of good vs. evil.

Book Review: Bad Blood ... not so bad
Summary: 3 Stars

I believe that if you are a Vampire Huntress fan, you might not like Bad Blood too much and for me that is understandable because they are different styles of writing. VH series is written with this supposedly "Urban style" of prose but I honestly don't know who speaks the way LA Bank's characters speaks, it is completely out of date and it makes me feel like I'm reading a script from a old black exploitation movie. Bad Blood doesn't read like that at all (Thank God!!!!) That being said I like Bad Blood enough.... I really think that I'll have to reserve my opinion on this series until the next book. I think that this book gave a lot of background on the two main characters but not on anyone else and then there seemed to be a rush to the sum up the story line and end this book. So>>> we will see how it goes
