Book Reviews of Backyard BBQ: The Art of SmokologyBook Review: Smoker's dream! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this book for my dad who had just bought a smoker. He loves the book, and said that it has been extremely helpful. He had already had a few unsuccessful tries at the art of smoking and this book helped him to correct his mistakes. My mom liked it too, she found a lot of great recipes to have my dad try!
Book Review: All the answers you'll need. Summary: 5 Stars
Finally, Chef McPeake has another book out and, for the rookies like me, takes the time to explain all the techniques to master smoking. Its nice to know that I can start with my basic grille and then master an actual smoker. I recommend this book for being through and straight forward. Get a copy for yourself!
Book Review: BACKYARD BBQ The Art of Smokeology Summary: 5 Stars
I thought I knew how to smoke, but it turns out I'm just a country bumpkin. The techniques Chef Richard uses create a product that are far tastier than I ever did alone. His recipes are definitely winners for my friends and I. I'm getting (or have gotten already) this book for my relatives and friends.
Book Review: one of my 2 favorites on smoking Summary: 5 Stars
This book can be easily digested in a couple of afternoons, and is full of great information on smoking. I have a Traeger pellet-type smoker, and this information is applicable to any smoker. The recipies are very useful. The other book I love is Paul Kirk's Championship Barbecue.
