The rest of them builds on the foundation of this book. A little over six hundred pages of material, it provides the reader with the thorough practical knowledge of the most fundamental tools of Final Cut Editing. Any of the more advanced techniques described in the following books are based on simpler methods described here. Extremely useful and practical book.
Book Review: great Summary: 5 Stars
Great book. Easy. I take "one-on-One" classes at the Apple store and still, I learned a lot of tricks with this book. One lesson a day and doing the exercises on the computer following the book directions. Easy. A good brush of my knowledge to harden the foundations. I will start the 2nd book soon - 2nd level. And then the 3 books on Motion3. Thank you
Book Review: Excellent Resource Summary: 5 Stars
This book does a great job of going through the various components of Final Cut Pro. I've been working with the software for some time--mainly taught by friends and by stumbling through until something worked. I wish I'd known this was an option much earlier. I HIGHLY recommend it.
Book Review: Not just interface overview Summary: 5 Stars
This book actually teaches you efficient work flows. All lessons designed in a really smart way, so your progress is well guided. Makes you learn keyboard shortcuts. The footage was fun to work with (not the usual snowboarders and surfers). Highly recommended.
Book Review: Final Cut Pro Summary: 5 Stars
The book is actually really awesome even when you take the FCP class. The book walks your through a lot of things that may not be straight forward.
Sound examples and good tutorials.
