Book Reviews of Angela's Ashes: A Memoir

Book Review: MUST READ
Summary: 5 Stars

Wow- I finally got around to reading this nationally acclaimed memoir, and I was very impressed! Angela's Ashes was not what I expected, but from the first few chapters I was pulled in and found this hard to put down.

Angela's Ashes is a harsh look at Frank's upbringing and family life. You'll sympathize with him, you'll root for him, you'll cry for him.

I plan to read Tis in the near future. This book is a MUST READ! Go out and get it!

Book Review: IT'S A GOOD BOOK!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have read many books, but I have never cried reading a book. This book is very sad and goes right to the heart. I could not put this book down. I wish that it never ended. I laughed at some moments and I cried. This has to be one of my favorite books. I dont have a top ten list yet but when I have one I know that this book will be in it. I recommand everyone reading this book.

Book Review: 8 stars to make up for the 3 Nevadamistermom missed.
Summary: 5 Stars

Brilliant. I have to keep the book out of site so i dont over read it. Frank McCourt deserves all the praise he's gotten.

Nevadamistermom wouldnt know a good book if it sailed in from Limerick and slapped her across the face. I mean seriously. Mistermom? Obvious confusion there. Ive never seen a more delusional name in all my life. Not to mention review.

Book Review: An extraordinary life.
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a life of an individual and family that is so difficult that it is hard for anyone to comprehend. I watched an interview with the author on C-span 2 which decided me to buy the book. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and marveled that he survived.

Book Review: Angela's Ashes
Summary: 5 Stars

An outstanding memoir about the hardships of a young Irish boy and his impoverished family. McCourt relives his life in Ireland in an honest, many times humorous and shameless way. His pace throughout is impeccable.
