Book Review: Unforgettable Book
Summary: 5 Stars
I first read this book more than fifty years ago, when I was twelve. [I belive it was first published in 1952 or 1953.] Many of my friends read it as well. I don't know of anyone who took longer than a hour to read the book. I don't know of a single friend, boy or girl, who didn't cry. I don't know of a single person who has ever forgotten this book.
My children all read the book, and, yes, they took less than an hour to read it, they all cried, and they've never forgotten it.
Now, my granddaughter is twelve, and I'm hoping the 'tradition' will continue in this new generation.
