Customer Review: Easily the weakest book in the series

I truly enjoyed the This Scepter'd Isle and Ill Met by Moonlight. Unfortunately, the series has gone downhill from there. And Less Than Kind felt like filler. Nothing really happened, the climax was exceedingly anti-climatic and I can't tell if this was supposed to be the end of the series or not. It seems so, as most of the storylines are wrapped up, but it's such a bland ending that it hardly seems worth it.
Lackey is capable of FAR better than this. Her Mage Winds trilogy, for example.
