Book Review: A must have if you are learning about Aspergers

This book offers captivating pictures of cats and kittens, protraying the behaviors of someone with Asperger Syndrome. If you have this disorder or know someone who does-this is a must read for you! There is no kinder, gentler way to describe the disorder. Children and adults alike will see themselves or a loved one with Aspergers in the pictures of the cats and clearly be able to identify with the simple text that describes the personality and quirks of an "Aspie." All Cats have Asperger's Syndrome is a fantastic book for helping your child understand Aspergers. It's also a great read for a public school or church class that is trying to understand a student with AS. My 9 yo Aspie grandson read it to his Sunday School class, and all of the kids were much more open and caring towards him once they understood what he was dealing with and why he sometimes behaves the way he does. I highly recommend this book!

This is an excellent selection for anyone who has a loved one or friend who has been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. It is remarkably written and the cats make it easier for young people as well as older folks to understand the behavioral differences that invade the life of a child with Asperger. Our grandson who is 13 was recently diagnosed and I at first thought NO WAY!! then I saw the different behaviors that a child has with Asperger and it was like an EYE OPENER!! I recommend this book

Book Review: Accurate description of Asperger Syndrome

This book really describes my personal experience with Aspergers Syndrome. Since it is written at a child's level, it may help children who have Aspergers and their friends come to a more tolerant understanding of it. I am going to lend it to some adults I know, maybe they will be more understanding.
Also on top of all this, the photographs of the cats are quite beautiful. They selected some of the prettiest cats I have ever seen for subjects. Recommended for cat lovers also.
Book Review: Delightful and enchanting

I decided to buy this book for my nephews 5 year old son who has just been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. Not only is it a great book for children it really helps the adults to understand the day to day hurdles a child with Aspergers has to face and how we as parents have to see things from their point of view. Thanks to this book I now have a better understanding and respect for my beautiful great nephew. I look forward to reading other books by Kathy Hoopmann in the very near future.
