Book Review: Maybe the most often recommended book for any Recovery program

What can be added to a book that has been around since 1939 and is still read after a quadrillion people have read it? By following the stories of the various people who have recovered from alcoholism, the "main idea" will certainly hit you. What idea? When it dawns, you'll know.
If the dawn has come already, you will find strength and hope in all of your relationships.

This book saved my life. When I was in the grips of my addiction I didnt know where to turn. Fortunately I found the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and the program outlined inside. To this day I must give the credit to AA for the transformation of my life. Highly recommended for those suffering from addiction, family members, friends, and counselors in the field of addiction.Book Review: Superb book, but I can't believe the price.

I'm in AA, and was just perusing the Amazon pages. I came upon the Big Book, and was totally amazed at the price they're charging. At ouR AA group, we sell the Big Book for $6.00, $6.50 for the large print. Go to a meeting, sit & listen, and then go buy it there. It'll save you a ton of money, and you might hear something that sounds familiar.Book Review: AA Big Book 4th Edition

THE book if you are looking at the AA Program or if you are working it. I purchased the used book through Amazon, it came in a few short days in great condition. Only 1 page folded over, no other marks. This book is not for everyone. And if it IS for you the book will not look like new for long because you read it over and over as you work AA.Book Review: EVERYONE should read this book!!

I had borrowed a copy of this book to read from a local AA group. I got so much from the text, not only as an alcoholic, but as a human being. I think everyone should read this book. I bought two copies: one to keep as a reference and one to pass around. It looks like I'll have to order a few more because both of my copies are out!
