Agility Start to Finish by Diane Bauman with Jessica Ajoux is a beautifully produced book. The photos are excellent, as is the overall production of the book. It is a rather large book measuring approximately 9 x 11 inches however, the large size has allowed the publisher to provide larger photos and diagrams.
This book is a must for everyone who aspires to compete in agility. It is divided into four sections covering training, teaching puppies, how to run the dog through the course and aboReady! 2nd Edition The Training of the Search and Rescue Dogut all of the obstacles. What is especially unique about this book is that there is a chapter devoted to Border Collies and herding dogs. This chapter is a boon to all handlers who use herding dogs in agility competition.
The photos in this book are so special that they are worth talking about. The photographers compete in agility with their own dogs, so they knew exactly what to capture on film. This is a huge plus for the novice since it helps show the reader what is expected and how to execute the exercises.
This book belongs on every dog owners book shelf.
