Book Review: Great coverage of difficult material
Summary: 5 Stars
Having studied under another book on the same subject, I'm able to appreciate how well this book is written. It makes the seemingly impossible to understand not only doable but almost fun, by including plenty of illustrations in a straightforward format as well as real-life boxes on current events.
The Excel tutorials made learning even easier when I got stuck occasionally on a particularly difficult concept.
Summary of Advanced Accounting
Intended for a senior level course in advanced accounting taught at many four-year schools, the book's primary objective is to provide a comprehensive treatment of selected topics in a clear and understandable manner. The third edition reflects current issues in advanced accounting, integrates all three alternative recording methods (cost, partial equity, complete equity) for teaching consolidation concepts using worksheet icons and labels to distinguish among the three methods and new, enhanced student pedagogy.General Books
