Book Review: Perfect condition, and arrived quickly!

The book arrived earlier than expected and was in perfect condition. I'm using it for a class, and it's been very easy to understand and interesting! I received it before I received the software, and even though it helps to follow along with Photoshop open on your PC, it was easy to grasp just by reading also. Good price too. I'm using the book Adobe Photoshop CS4 Classroom in a Book with Adobe Photoshop CS5 software. I'm into the first 100 pages, and so far there have only been very few minor differences between the CS5 software I'm using, and the processes described with the CS4 book.Book Review: Finally - I get it!!

This book unlocked the secrets of Photoshop for me. Photoshop may be wonderful, but it's not intuitive. Even after taking an adult education photoshop class I still didn't understand how to use the program. A few hours with this book and I now get it!! The book is written very clearly and explains things very well. I love the way it is laid out and I know I will refer to it over and over again. I recommend this book very highly to anyone who wants to learn how to use Photoshop!Book Review: New to Photoshop?

If you are a first time user of Photoshop then this is the best book to start with. I used the Classroom in a book series for Elements 4, 5, and 6 and now made the leap to Photoshop. It was a big leap but made so much easier by this wonderful book. The Adobe people have experience as they have been writting these teaching books for years. If you are new to Photoshop - you absolutely need to have this book on hand. It provides a well planned approach to learning the complexities of Photoshop. This book also comes with a number of working exercises (follow along type) on a CD. I highly recommend it. I just wish I had more time to learn about Photoshop. I aquired Photoshop as a hobbyist and this was the third book I bought trying to figure out what I could do with the software. Other books define what each feature does and how to access it, but Classroom in a Book puts the features into context. I learned the software as well as some basic graphic design and photography skills. Before you spend money and time on a class on Photoshop, try this book!
